What is my phone number?

Once your satellite phone has been connected, you will typically be assigned a standard local number with your country code. For instance, in the United States and Canada, the country code is +1, while in the United Kingdom, it is +44. This number functions just like a regular cell phone number and can be dialed to reach your satellite phone.

In some cases, certain airtime plans and prepaid services might provide you with a standard satellite phone number, such as +8816 for Iridium.

To easily locate the number assigned to your satellite phone, you can refer to your phone's user manual for detailed instructions. Most satellite phones or terminals are equipped with a display that shows the assigned number.

Additionally, you can find your satellite phone number in the initial activation confirmation and "Dialing Instructions" email that we send when you activate your service for the first time.

We strongly recommend using international formats when storing and dialing calls. This means that your satellite phone number will be in the format of +1XXXXXXXXXX. To make calls from your handset, you will need to dial the number using the international format. For example, if your satellite phone number is +1XXXXXXXXXX, you would dial it exactly as shown to connect your call.
