This procedure may also be helpful if you have not used your hardware for a season or two.
Please note, this procedure is not possible for the RedPort Pro Duel-Band Extender Kit. There is no physical reset button on the Duel-Band Antenna.
Steps to Complete Factory Reset
- Locate the small reset button on the base of the Extender tube. It is very small and near the ethernet port. Please note you may need to remove any mount that may be screwed onto the bottom of the tube.
- Once you locate the button, you will need to the hold it down for at least 15 seconds with a pen or paperclip.
- Once you release the button, all lights on the tube flash in unison. Once you see this, the reset is complete, and the Extender is ready to look for an outside Wi-Fi network.
- You can now reconnect to the Optimizer's Wi-Fi network and log into the user interface at 192.168.10.1.
